Join 26 other Outsiders on a trip in the Swiss Alps! We will fly into Geneva on August 28th and then drive to the town of Axalp right outside of Interlaken. We will be staying at an Airbnb for six nights where we will hang out, enjoy meals together, and recharge after all of our adventures. The Airbnb has dozens of bunk beds and communal style bathrooms–think of a cool hostel, but all to ourselves with a view of the Alps. We will spend the week kayaking blue alpine lakes, hiking incredible peaks, strolling historic streets, and much more. On Saturday, September 3rd we will drive back to Geneva for an afternoon in the city and stay at a hostel. The trip comes to an end on Sunday when we all fly home (that Monday is Labor Day, so no need to ask off work—woohoo)!
NOTE: Everyone will be participating in the same activities and adventures, but on different days. We will split into 3 groups so that all 26 of us aren’t overtaking a restaurant or clogging up a hike all at once. Once you sign up for the trip, you will choose which group you’d like to be in/which activities you’d like to do on which days. We’d love to have you join us.

Enjoy the summer sun and spend an afternoon kayaking and stand up paddle boarding on Lake Breinz.

A spectacular 5.5 mile hike 40 minutes outside of Interlaken. The Oeschinensee is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps.

Join us for a day trip to one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Lucerne. Explore the city, marvel at medieval architecture, and enjoy a bike ride through the city.

Enjoy this hike to the majestic natural spectacle of Giessbach Falls and watch how the water plunges down into the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz.

Known as “the top of Interlaken,” this popular hike summits the tallest peak in the area and provides 360 views of the region, including several alpine lakes. This is a moderately difficult 5.6 mile hike with 2,200 feet of elevation gain that takes about 4 hours roundtrip.

This easy yet breathtaking 3-mile path begins in downtown Interlaken and travels along Lake Thun. The path leads through sections of light forest and avenues of ancient trees, constantly accompanied by the nearby river and the mountain panorama on the horizon. The path ends at an enchanting lakeside park, the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the views.

In the idyllic fishing bay of Iseltwald, the only village on the left bank of Lake Brienz, you can enjoy the sunset right on the water. Listen to the gentle waves of the lake and watch as the sun slowly fades away with a magnificent palette of colors over Interlaken and the Harder Kulm.

Meander through the streets of Interlaken and visit local shops and cafes.

Explore the famous city of Geneva on our last day in Switzerland before our flights home.

$775 per person
We are determined to help everyone in this community get outside and experience the world in the most affordable way possible while still seeing rad views, meeting great people, and having fun. This price covers all of the base costs of activities, rental vans, the airbnb, hostel stay, and other necessities. We’re not after your money—we’re here to chase experiences and get people out into the world. That’s why we’re keeping it simple and affordable, unlike other companies who would charge $1,500+ for a trip like this. We hope you can join us!
Included:
Ground transportation the entire trip—from Geneva to Interlaken, around Interlaken, to and from activites, from Interlaken to Lucerne, and back to Geneva! We will have large rental vans for transport.
Airbnb and hostel stays.
All planned activities, including entrance fees, rentals, etc.

Flights.
Food (we will make grocery store runs where everyone can get their own food and snacks, and we can coordinate cooking meals together!).
Any activities or transportation you decide to do outside of the itinerary.
The Airbnb we are staying at has a ton of bunk beds with sleeping pads and pillows, but we need you to bring your own sleeping bag!
