Intro to Backcountry—FlagPole Peak, Tahoe

Meet at the Echo Lake Trailhead of the PCT (South Lake Tahoe)
Demo the new adidas Terrex FreeHiker Low GTX hiking shoes
6-mile roundtrip hike/scramble (more info here) to the summit, with roughly 1,700 ft of elevation gain (option to stop at any time and enjoy the many lookouts along the ridge)
Learn how to navigate a class 4 scramble
End with a fun “Apres Hike” in the parking lot of Echo Lake
